I could not make out exactly what Sir A. Kennedy had done in this case, as this despatch does not state exactly what situation these two individuals hold, & the salaries proposed to be assigned did not appear to be in accordance with the Estimates.
The despatch referred to in No. 8935 has however enabled me to make out more exactly what has been done.
