HOW TO PLAY FULLBACK:-- CINCE football has been blasted wide open : ▷ with the use of the lateral pass, fullback no longer can be the heavy, ponderous player whose sole forte heretofore was line plunging

The full today must carry weight on a long, rangy frame, and must be agle to run with the fastest halfbacks so that he can get out in the open and grablaterals and forwards. A fost full- back, too, generally Js a better ground gainer through the line; for he can plek holes better.

In hitting the line, the fullback lowers elther shoulder, and runs low. On meeting fickler, he raises the shoulder, shoving tackler to one aldo..

Once in the clear, he must be fast noough to cut back and pick up interference,SITY

On defense, the fullback is a busy mat. Ho

analyzes plays, and at all times must pile into Next-HOW TO PLAY the heart of the attack as it is aimed at the line.
