CLUB'S BATTING COLLAPSE
E. L. GOSANO'S DANDY INNINGS FOR UNIVERSITY
(By R. Abbit)
The game between the I.R.C. and the Club was a most exciting one and the former Club's win by two
wickets was, I am informed, thoroughly well deserved, though it was in doubt up to the very last. I hope later to publish fuller accounts from eye-witnesses.
I confess that the result was n SKOLETTASKS SALTJÜKKIENTALENT STRESOURCELONA considerablo, surprise to me as I did not think the Club batting would break down so completuly—with one exception.
The credit of this lion very large- ly with Minu whose bowling figures were 20.4—5—52-5. He got to work as soon as the LHC. had won the toss and put the Club in to bat. Owen Hughes went almust at once and T. E. Pearce shartly after, both falling to the left-hander.
But then Alec Pearce, who had Bottled
down, and Marshall began to put a new complexion on the game. But Pereira who if he only got one wicket did his share nobly in keeping The runs down, (for he bowled twenty- four overs for less than two runs apiece), got one past Marshall when the latter had made 10.

when Hayward more, was in, things seemed to be going well for the Club when a tragedy happened. A hard chance was hit to deep mid-off, and was not accepted. misunderstanding But there was a between
