LEE'S AMBITION TO VISIT EUROPE & WRITE BOOK
(By "Veritas")
| EE Wai-tong, most famous Chinese footballer in the Orient and the man who is leading South China “A” to new heights of achievement in local soccor, has been asked to turn film star. Lee hasn't yet said No; and he hasn't said Yes. Right now he isn't sure, but he doesn't think he will.
Chinese film producers, acting on behalf of the National Government have approached Lee on the subject. It is suggested that he appears in a narrative film to include both a love interest and football sequences. The story has only been outlined and Lee has been offered carto blanche to select his own leading lady and to make uny suggestions he desires regarding the "shooting" of the football scenes.
The big thing that is holding Leo back is the possibility of film-making prejudicing his position in regard to World Olympice.

TO BE OLYMPIC CAPTAIN I think it can be stated quite confidently that Lee Wal-tong will bo appointed captain of China's Olympic team to visit Berlin next year, and as making n film might affect his amateur atatus and ruin his opportunity for such a signal honour, Leo is dot inclined to take the risk.

RECREIO'S TEAM CHANGES
Goalkeeper Unable To Play To-day
(By "Verlias"),
Club de Recreio have hean deprived of the services of R. Marques their goalkeeper for to-day's match against Kowloon. If Marques played to-day he would be unavailable for the International Charity Cup match on Boxing Day, and he has naturally decided to hold himself for the Cup tie.
In consequence the Recreio will Introduce V. Marques in goal, while Castilho will go left half with C. Marques on the right wing.
The team will probably line up as follows.
Marques; A. V. Gosano Cold and Bowen: Figleredo, Beltrao Castilho Marques, Dolgado, B. Gosano, Gomes and Alves.
TEN AUSTRALIAN RECORDS There were ten records established and two equalled in the Australian Class, and Able Amazon accounted for four and Cold Morning broke two. for Australian Ponies.

TOUCHSTONE PAYS OUT. THE HIGHEST
There was no sensational big dividend during the racing season and the highest for a "Win" was $495.10 paid by Touchstone (Mr. Proulx) in the Blue Pool Handi- cap. In comparison with previous years, this was some- what low, as in 1932 Daylight Eve ridden by Mr. Palmer in the Mirs Bay Handicap paid $1,505.10 and last year Mr. Tang Man Wa on Flying Tourist in the Crieff Handi- cap returned $657.60. However, herewith is a list of dividends of $100 and over.
