CARS IN COLLISION
UNKNOWN CHINESE FOUND
SERIOUSLY INJURED Following a collision between two cars at the Des Voeux Road, und Wardley Street Junction about 7.30 st night, an unknown Chinese about 22 years of age was found lying on the road bleeding profusely from the head. He was removed to the Government Civil Hospital, whore it was discovered ho was suffering with a fractured akull, and his condition's serious.
The accident occurred when private car No. 4248, driven by Sher Mohamed, along Des Voeux Road in an easterly direction, turned into Wardley Street, and came into collision with a publie car No. 125, driven by Hung Yick- ching, which was coming in the opposite direction, and which also turned into Wardley Street. As to how the man was knocked down, and by which car appears to be a discovered mystery, as he was after the collision, lying on the ground injured.
