With reference to your letter of the 25th September respecting the proposed reconstruction of the Praya Wall at Stoughing, I am directed to acquaint you, for the information of the Earl of Carnarvon, that the Secretary of State for War has no objection to the Sea-Wall being continued in front of the War Department property, subject to the following Conditions-
