JAMES CAGNEY

Hollywood's Most Famous Bad Man

Joins the

G-MEN

and Halts the March of Crime

Another first-

of-its-kind from Warner Bros.!

The producers of

"The Public Enemy" have now trained their cameras on the men who trained their guns on the craft- iest killers of this day and age. They've brought the G-MEN, mighty man-hunters of the De- partment of Justice, out of the shadowsofsecrecy into the bril- liant glare of the picture screen. Yesterday's screaming head- lines are a feeble whisper com- pared to the sensational revela- tions in this shot-by-shot drama- tization of gangland's Waterloo.

It's all here!... Famous head- line cases lived out Amazing shots of the G-Men's scientific.man-hunt- ing machinery...Incred- ibly thrilling battles with the

last of the mobsters!

And think of it! None other than Jimmy Cagney, the his toric "Public Enemy" of 1931, now plays the lead in this epic of the end of gangdom! "G-MEN" is being hailed from coast to coast as the most:re-. markable picture in years. Its widespread fame makes it one of those things you just must see!

A First National Picture with James Cagney, Ann Dvorak, Margaret Lindsay, Robert Armstrong.

ST. VINCENT DE PAUL

SOCIETY'S BAZAAR` ON NOVEMBER 3RD

Preparations are woll advanced for the St. Vincent de Paul Society Bazaar; for the benefit of the Hongkong poor, which will be hold on Sunday, November 8 in the ground near the Rosary Church, 'Chatham" Rond, Kowloon. This is the fifty-second annual Bazaar and Al Fresco Fete to be held by the Society, and a change in the time and the place are being made this year. Formerly it was held in the space 'around the. Catholic with Cathedral, Caine Rond, but the removal of such a large pro- portion of the residential popula flon to Kowloon, It was thought better to transfer the fate to the other side of the harbour this year, and it is being held in November instead of December to avoid clash- ing with other functions of a similar nature.

Stalls are in the course of erce- tion in the ground on Chathamm Rond, and with the attractive sur- roundings and the elaborate de- corations that are being planned, It is believed that this year's felo will be one of the most picturesque ever held in Hongkong. Many now features will also be introduc- ed into the stalls, and there will be a continuous musical programme.

the

The Society in whose ald Bazaar is being held is one of the best known of Hongkong charities. Everything that it receives is dis- etion of race or creed, who are tributed to the poor without dis- visited by the members in their own homes. Within the past ten years the Society has distributed $150,889 a this way, and in view of the widespread distress year it is hoped that a good sum will be put at its disposal as a re-

ult of the Bazaar.
