I have laid before the Earl of Derby your letter of the 14th inst. and its enclosures referring to a Civil Suit "Landelein v. the King of Annam" instituted at Hongkong for recovery of the value of certain repairs and alterations of a Steam vessel purchased by the defendant from the Plaintiff.
