With reference to Lord Tenterden's Letter of the 17th of June, I am directed by the Earl of Derby to state to you, for the information of the Earl of Carnarvon, that Her Majesty's Minister at Lisbon has reported in a Despatch dated the 23rd ultimo, that he has received a Note from the Portuguese Minister for Foreign Affairs ad interim, announcing that the ... of Her Majesty's Government have been duly conveyed to the Government of Macao.
