New York, Sept. 30. The Dotroit Tigers have won the Amercan Baseball Champion ship and will meet the Chicago Cubs in the World Series, which start on Wednesday.
Gordon Cochrane has announgest that "Schoolboy" Rowe will pitch in
the first game, while the Cubs are uxpected to start with Iannic Warnoke for the spence.
The Tigers are 7-5 favourites to win. the serică and odds of 6-4 are offered on thom to take the first of the five
