Arrangements have been made for the final of the Open Rinks Championship to be played off on Sunday week, August 25, but as yet it has not been decided on which green it is to take place.

The finalists are the Club de Recreio rink skipped by C. G. “Silva and the Kowloon Bowling Green four led by A. M. Holland. Silva's rink consists of J. E. Noronka, C. E. Marques, P. X. M. da Silva und C. G. Silva, while the Bowling Green quartette is composed of P. T. Farrell, R. Duncan, J. C. Brown and A. M. Holland.

No date has yet been fixed for the fitial of the Pairs Champion- ship betwee ibe Dunrans And M. J. Medina and J. Cavanagh, of the Craigengower CC, but it is to be arranged when the committee meets next week to draw for the quarter-finals of the pen Singles.

With improved weather tions the Lawn Bowls leagues are making good progress and if there are no further blank Saturdays it is met possible that the sensou will be brought to a close without "inter- derener with cricket and football which start next month. to many clubs nets will be put up for cricket practice in three weeks' time but until there are the regularly Satur day afternoon games lawn bowlers will be able to continue with their favourite pastime.

They have to meet the Police and Kowloon B.G.C. in home and away fixtures while they also have the Kowloon Docks and the Indian R.C. to play on their own
