For fourteen years of steadily increasing renown, 1922-1935; the New Wimbledon has stood the test of the over-lordship of the world's tournaments writes Mr. J. E. Collett in Field. It was opened by the King on June 26th, 1922, one of the outstandig Suzanne Lenglen years.
