In my confidential despatch N° 149 of the ult. I had the honour to make to Y.L. a Report of a long Conversation which I had had with the Duc Decazes on the subject of the Anname treaties; and I enclosed in the same despatch a copy of a paper which I had put into his hand and which contained some observations on the Draft which he had communicated to me confidentially of a proposed answer to the remonstrance of The Earl of Derby
