Brought before Mr. Macfadyen at the Central Magistracy this morning Chan Cheung, aged 30, unemployed seaman, was charged with stealing a leather purse containing $1 in 10 cent pieces, from Lo Kuan, unemployed. Sergeant Smith stated that complain- ant was disembarking from the Yau- "múti Terry launch Man Shún at about 7.30
