"Ladies and Gentlemen.-It is with the greatest of pleasure that I propose the Toast on the 25th anniversary of the reign of His Majesty the King. We are all of us, with the exception of the chil- dren, familiar with the remarkable events that have taken place dur- ing his reign, in all of which His Majesty has always had that tact and dignity with which he is so justly favoured.

"It must be a matter of great pride and gratification for him to realise how many people through- out the world are gathered to-day to do him honour.
