FINANCE EXPERTS EXPECT SURPRISE

MARKET REPORTED IN DANGEROUS POSITION

New York, May 1.

Wall Street students of the silver situation are in- clined to look for a surprise move when the Treasury takes the next step in its silver programme.

While the Treasury is caught between the upheaval caused by the Mexican monetary reforms and heavy- world speculation, it apparently is loath to move hastily. A balance of silver to the value of $415,- 000,000 is considered to be a sufficient margin to enable the Treasury to keep the world price from declining.
