Kin Lee and Co. on December 22, 1934; (3) that on De cember 12, 103-1, being an employce of the said firm, he did enter tho Bum of $2,500.00 in the books or the Arm Instead of $3,260.25; (4) that on December 22, 1934, being an em ployee of the firm, he did omit from the cash book of the firm a sum of $200 received from the Fook Hing Co., of Messrs. Kin Lee und Co..
Mr. G, K. Hall Brution appeared for the prosecution, and Mr. C. E. R. Sanderson was for the defence.
The story for the defence was that the defendant had, on instructions from Su Kee, a deceased partner. of the firm, paid $400 as commission to two men, and the balance of $0.20 could not be necounted for, but might have been used in paying wagen. WR regard to the $200 from the Kin Lee firm, the defendant had in- structed the accountant to write it in the book, and was himself puzzled Lo sea that it had not been entered.
