The bad weather which has ruined the last few week-ends has pointed once more to the paramount importance of getting through. the League programmes, both Senior and Junior, as early as possible. Unfortunately there are serious difficulties in each Divi. sion. To take the Seniors first. Owing to the fact that the University Exams, take place round about mid-November, and that vacation follows the months of November and December are wasbed out of their car as far as serious cricket goes,
