TWO-PLAN REFEREE WILL CLEAR AWAY THEIR GRIEVANCES

CHESTER'S GROUND IMPROVEMENTS

By Frank M. Carruthare

By "Arbiter" (Frank M. Carruthers) When the two-referees scheme is next tried, at West Brom- wich, on March 27, I hope every League club will be represented. With only a few exceptions, the big clubs ignored the trial at Cheater as if it were not. a serious proposition. This was a mistake. They ought to put aside prejudice and keep an open mind.
