A letter from the Chief Scout, who visited the world Jambores near Melbourne, has been addressed. to Mr. R. Dormer, the District Scoutmaster of Kowloon, who led the Hongkong contingent. It is dated from Camp Frankston, Janu- hry 9, and runs as follows:
My dear Dormer,-1 must send you just a word of thank for bringing those excellent examples of Hong Kong Scouts to the Jam- boree. It must have been a very long journey for you all, but I hope you found it worth while. At any rate your presence here has been much appreciated and I hope that your homeward voyage will be a happy and Instructive one. Their experiences in Australia must have been good for your scouts: at any rate they looked as though they enjoyed them, and no doubt they will have gained a better realisa- tion of the strength of our brother-
