Moscow, Dec. 26.
It is officially announced that thirteen of the four- teen men arrested for the murder of the Leningrad official, Kirov, have confessed to membership in a "terrorist group" organised in the old capital. But only three men, Nikolayev, Antonoff and Zvezdov have admitted planning the assassination of Kirov.
Testimony before the prosecutor at Leningrad was
of a most sensational nature.

INCIDENTS UNLIKELY
Saarbruceken, Dec. 26. Any prospect of incidents dia- turbing the peace of the Saar bo- fore or after the plebiscite is most unlikely in view of the good re- Intions being steadily established between the foreign soldiers and the Inhabitants.

AMERICAN PURCHASES OF SILVER TO CONTINUE
Washington, Dec. 26.
According to advices received here in official quartera, the British Government has virtually admitted that it intends to force the nations of the Gold Bloc, which are backed by the vast gold holdings of France and Switzerland, to retreat from their position.
According to financial experts here, a break in the Gold Bloc cannot be avoided very much longer.
Further, it is learned that silver purchasing is like- ly to be resumed in the immediate future by the United States Treasury Department.
