Playing with ten men, I. Hughes being the absentee, the long- kong Hotkey Club seniors defeated a team from 11.M.S. Medway by awai goals to one on the Club ground at King'a Park yesterday afternoon, in friendly hockey match. The lab led by two goala to nil at the interval.
In the first half, the Club obtained) their first goal through G. E. R. Divett who took the ball down on his own and dribbled past the Medway goal- keeper. Divett was also responsible) for the recand goal.
The Modway forwards settled down! to better combination In the evcond] half.. Their centre-forward sent in a hard shot which C.-L.. Gregory saved well. Shortly after this a "oncerted attack resulted in Sub-Lieut. Knox Anding the net for the Naval team, fallowing a mixkick on the part of the Club custodian.
For the Club, J. Rodger, J. L.. Fetley and J, E. Putter played well in the defence, while Knox, Lieut. Polland Martin and Lt.Cdr. J. A. Corrie were the pick of the Medway team.
