and Shanghai Bank remains open nominally for three months. This period will be extended, if necessary, unless some unforeseen change
in the money
market takes place,

I should be glad to receive the earliest possible intelligence of Your Lordship's views.

that an offer,
advantageous
to the Colony,
should not be lost.
