SUCCESSFUL DINNER DANCE HELD BY LOCAL.CLUB
The local Canadian Chinese Club held their annual dinner dance at the Hongkong Hotel Roof Garden last night, a large crowd attending, The guests were Lieut-Cel. E, S. Doughty, Canadian_Immigration Commissioner, and Mrs, Doughty, and Major V. E. Duclos, Canadian Trade Commissioner.
A feature of the evening was the entertainment provided by Pro- fessor Wan Wan San, a well-known magiclan who recently returned from a tour of the United States where he displayed his akiil at the Chicago World Fair.
