The American Bridge League awards masters' points for Impor- tunt major tournaments. A player, in order to rate as a "master," mast have at least three points.j There are only 102 living "mns- ters" in the United States.
Each year three points are de ducted from each player's scory and on Nov. 1. 25 players out of the 102 will lose their rating s "ninstera, unless they earn new points before the year is over.
