PRIZES PRESENTED

The Craigongower Cricket Club was en fete yesterday, when the Lawn Bowie Coming Day was held. During the afternoon a match between the "Bald Heads" and "Non-Bald Heads" was staged, which resulted in a win for the "Non-Bald Heads," by 188 shots to 135,

After the match, prizes for suc- cessen in the different branches of aport were distributed by Mrs. B..W, Bradbury, wife of Mr. B. W. Brad- bury, President of the Club. This was followed by a dange in the Club Hall.

Before Mrs. Bradbury presented the prizes, Mr. Bradbury, addressing those present, commented on the very successful year which the Club hnd on- Joyed, especially in Lawn Bowls, Thoy had, he eakd, won the First Division title of the League, and, in doing so, had 'created a record by winning the League about seven times during the past ten years. They had about 64 playing members during the season, and he was quite sure other club could boast of so many 1 enthusianife bowlers.

Mr. Bradbury also commented on

2 the tennis and cricket leagues, in which the Club had not fared too well,

2 and he said he hoped they would do 3 better during the coming reason.
