## Details of Construction
The 10 inch cast iron Conduit pipe laid under the carriage road from Pokfoolum to Victoria, having been proved to be too small to bring down the daily quantity of Water, which in the dry Season might safely be allowed to run into the City, and this inadequacy having been of late still further aggravated by the corroded condition of the interior of the pipe and Consequent loss of Sectional area, it has been determined to construct along Contours of the Pokfoolum hills brick conduit to extend from the Reservoir Outlet to the highest Public tank in the City.
It is however to be borne in mind that the proposed Conduit will in no way increase the daily quantity of water at present delivered during the dry season, since the extent of this daily allowance is governed entirely by the amount...
