in favour of the Pokfulam Subsidiary works was recorded.
Believing that irrespective of the decision regarding the Bytam Project the execution of the Pokfulams will meet with Your Lordship's approval I have placed on the Estimates for next year a sum of $50,000 to defray the expenditure, for I cannot but suppose that the cost of such works can properly be charged against the available balance in the Treasury.
I enclose, together with the Report referred to, some professional details prepared by the Surveyor General, and I would ask for Your Lordship's early decision regarding these works trusting that they may be commenced at the beginning of next year.
