A sort of prospectus should also be sent home—sufficiently brief to add to the Advertisement, and sufficiently comprehensive to be understood by the general reader—setting forth the financial condition of the Colony for the last seven years as shown by Imports-Exports-Revenue-Expenditure, and Debts; so that lenders to the project may judge for themselves as to getting repaid, with interest.
