Arregements made by the Committee in charge of competitions last weh for the Altkenhead Shield Competition were confirmed by a mesting of the General Committes yesterday evening.
Mr. 2. Maughan, President of the Hongkong Lawn Bowls Associa Lion, who presided at the meeting, an nounced that arrangements had been made to play off the Competition on the Kowloon Bowling Green Club greens on October 18,

The teams will be composed of nina players from Kowloon Docks and 13 each from Kowloon C.C., Club de Recreio and Kowloon Bowling Green' Club, for Kowloon; ten from the Cralgengower C.C., eight each from R.C., Civil Service C.C., and Polico six from Taikoo Rt.C., and four cach from the Indian R.C., Yacht Club, Football Club and the Hongkong Electric for Hongkong.
