DIFFICULTIES OF HEAVY GROUND
Meeting the United Services Recreation Club in their last but one match of the season, the Kowloon Cricket Club yesterday earned points in the "A" Division of the tennis league, winning by seven sets. to two.
The match was played at the U.S.R.C., on courts made very heavy by the recent rains. Capt. P. S. Cannon was an absentee from the Servicen team and H. G. Sheldon deputized. The niso made one change, coming in for F. Grose.

He was one of the most promising of the junior tennis players in Hongkong, and performed with dis- tinction when he played for the Interport team In Henol last year.
