KEEP YOUR CHILDREN

HEALTHY WITH ENO

To be really happy and healthy, children must never be even slightly constipated. The best and safest way to prevent this dangerous condition is to give them a dash of ENO's "Fruit Salt" in a glass of water regularly. This simple precaution will ensure that all poisonous waste is dismissed from their systems, gently, naturally and thoroughly.

ENO contains nothing harsh or drastic-that is why it is so good for children. And how they welcome the morning glass of ENO once they have learned what a pleasant bubbly drink it is. Always have a bottle of ENO's "Fruit Salt" in. the house,

Worth All They Can Get”.

66 GET MORE THAN

£20,000 - A YEAR Film actors are worth all they can get indeed, they are really underpaid):

This is the contention of Sol. Rosenblatt, who has just furnished a report on Hollywood salaries to General Hugh Johnson, the direc tor of America's National Re-, covery campaign.

Publicity agents spread stories suggesting that £2,000 a' week means $104,000 a year; but this, Mr. Rosenblatt points out, is a fallacy. High salartes are gener

only ally payable when the star is nctually working.

Mr. Rosenblatt's report showe that 8,846 individuals were paid £30 or more a week. (Apparent ly, remarks a Daily Telegraph cor respondent, no American investi- gator thinks it worth while plum- bing the depths occupied by those who earn less than £30.) Of these only 446 earned £6,000 a year or more-and this includes execu tives, directors, writers, and all others.

Moreover those who earned £20- 000 a year or more numbered only G6. The highest salary-£82,000

was paid to one artist for a single picture. It is permissible to make a guess at her (or his) identity.

The next highest income among the stars Wis £59,000. The highest paid executivo received in salary and percentages £55,000,
