Humane Girth Invention

NOW INTRODUCED IN COLONY

Claiming that it will revolu tionise saddle girths, Mr. J. A. Robertson recently arrived in Hongkong from India, has brought to the Colony his patent invention known as the Robertson Humane Gieth.

The chief innovation of this girth in the insertion of elastic bands which are easily detachable from metal loops in the centre of the girth. This olasticity allows room for better play of the muscles of the herne while running, turning or jumping over hurdles, and at the same time provides caky contraction and ex. pansion while breathing.

Mr. Robertson intends to take out patent rights for his invention in Hongkeng, and has already approach- ed the Hongkong Jockey Club and the Polo Club with a view to demonstrat- ing his invention..
