Yesterday's Information was, it will be recalled, that dfteen hun- dred people were faced with star-! vation, the Federal agencies having thdrawn relief supplies because of the failure of the Logislature to vote their share of the cost,

NO WAR FOR TEN
YEARS
PSYCHOLOGY RIGHT: FINANCES WRONG
PARIS INTERVIEW
PARIS, AUGUST 7. MR. LLOYD GEORGE HAS COME OUT TO- DAY AS A PROPHET OF PEACE.
"I am willing to guarantee," he says in an interview published in to-day's issue of the Petit Journal, "that the nations of Europe have no need to fear another major war, for ten years."
There is no question that Germany is unable to make war at present, he said.
It is true, he agreed, that the psychological condi. tions necessary' for war are present, but the material facts must be taken into consideration and they rule out war at the present time.
TROUBLE VISITED ON FAR EAST
Mr. Lloyd George blamed the development in the Far East for the creation of tension, uncertain ty and suspicion in Europe,
