The action brought by Mrs. Marguerite Bennett, from /hom the famous novelist, Trold Bennett, was legally separated in 1921, to recover proceeds
from property left to Dorothy Cheston Bennett, who lived with the author as his wife for many years and bore him one child, failed in the Chan- cery Division to-dny. It falled, at leant, insofar as the plaintiff's claims for relief in respect to the gift of securities, made by the testator for the benefit of Dorothy Bennett and her child.
