RUBBER DUTIES.
BÁTAVIA ANNOUNCES LOWER SCALD
Batavia, July 19. The Government has fixed an export duty on native rubber on the basis of ten cents per half kilogram of dry rubber, compared with a previous tariff of eight cents.
: The duty will come into force for exports of wet rubber on August 1 and for dry rubber on September 16.-Reuter.
