An Ordinance to repeal the Naval and Victualling Stores Ordinance of 1867 and to re-enact its provisions with such amendments as are to be found in the Act of 1869. The inclosed Ordinance referred to entitled "The Naval Stores Ordinance (Hongkong) 1875," and have the honor to solicit that it may be laid before the Queen for Her Majesty's gracious approval and Confirmation.

The Attorney General's report is annexed, from which Your Lordship will see that in addition to the introduction of amendments rendered necessary by the Imperial Act, the opportunity was taken, with the unanimous approval of the Council, of restoring to the Governor in Council the power of granting and revoking Pawnbroker's Licenses by eliminating the Sections bearing thereon in the Ordinance of 1867.
