Washington, June 28. Cryptic reference to the Administration's silver policy was made by President Roosevelt to-night when he reviewed the government's recovery campaign in a. speech direct to the people, broadcast to every corner of the United States.
The President hailed as the most important work of Congress the passage of certain Bills governing changes in the monetary system of the United States and doing justice both to gold and silver. The speech is interpreted as indicating determination to pursue present methods and intention to implement the Silver Act as soon as possible.
