The following Rules will govern the Competition:— 1-The Competition in confined exclusively to

amateur photographers,

2--The Prizes will be awarded to the competitors sending in what are adjudged to be the best photographs in each Section. Each entry must be accompanied by the form below.

3-The right to publish any or all of the entries

in the Telegraph is reserved. 4-Photographs which have been already entered

in lucal competitions are ineligible,

BALANCE OF OVER £410 SENT TO ENGLAND

Au a result of the local drive-in aid of the British Empire Cancer Research Fund Campaign, tho sum of $5,765.18, or £409.2.9, has been forwarded to the Treasurer of the Fund. In addition to this very gratifying rosult is added a sum of $20 (£1.8.4) representing a last minute anonymous donation received in memory of “G.H.J,”

Donations received amounted to $1,512; donations for, and collec tions at the Concert realised $582.05; and the Empiro Day Street Collection produced $0,- 788.93; making a grand total of $5,882.98. In addition there was the anonymous donation referred to above.

From the total receipts the aum of $126.90 hna been deducted for expenses.
