1. With reference to the complaint of the Consul for France (contained in No. 2613 of 1874) as to Police Officers of this Force boarding the F.S. "Anadyr" in the harbour of this Colony, I have to submit the following report.
2. The details of the special complaint are abrupt and vague, but they appear to refer to the following case:
Rough Police Report: "Accused ... 3 Left : 4 - 30th May ... 'A seaman' ... 1857 reports having been assaulted by the Chief Officer of the M.M. & I. 'Anadyr' on board. The Acting Chief Inspector went on board that vessel.
