The Arc-en-Clel took off from Senegal at 3 a.m. G.M.T., and or- rived at Port Natal, Brazil, at 7 .m. G.M.T., having covered the distance of approximately 1,800 miles in 14 hours.
This is the first attempt by the French, with official hacking, to make a commercial air link between France and South America,
-The conditions insisted upon by the French Government are that the Arc-en-Ciel must make three double journeys before the service will be recognised by Air France.
