THE GETTLE: CASE

KIDNAPPERS ARRESTED AND SENTENCED

Los Angoles, May 16. Jimmy Kirk, Roy Williams and Larry Kerrigan, who were charg- ed in connection with the kidnap- ping of Wiliam F. Gettle, the vil magnute, pleaded guilty to the in- dictment and were sentenced to life imprisonment 24 hours after Gettle was releuscil by Federal agents who carried out a surprise raid on the kidnapper's lair near Pasadena,

Gettle was kidnapped during a bathing party on May 10, and a ranson of $75,000 was demanded for his release. It is stated that the money was not paid over- United Press.
