How the models "come to life" in this superbly modern production must re- moin one of the intriguing secreŁA which only a visit to the Queen's Theatre will solve. In addition to "Sho's Only Wax," the director of "Indiscretions of Eve," Cecil Lewis, has written for his original story three more numbers which will set your feat tripping and your mind whirling. You can't afford to miss "Heading for Paradise," "Taxi" and "Such a Nice Young Man." The leading roles are played by Fred Conynghuni and Stem Dunn who, although this is their film debut, have had considerable stage experience and can be considered de- Anitely as "Anda."**
"The Power and the Glory"
Except in a few rare instances, an actor starts as a ham and ends as one, observes Spencer Tracy. And hastily, the Fox Filma actor explains that he isn't casting a slur on anyone. "It just happens," he says, "that this in a truth. We start our 'theatrical careers an inexperienced players thus we are hams-und, unless we keep up with the times and changing technique, we end na hams. This is the law of the theatre. Unless you study your profession and keep apace with it you ket old-fashioned in a year or so." Tracy duesn't exclude himself from this very broad statement. "To keep from getting old-fashioned in my work I make it a practice to see two or three pictures a week, principally to observe the work of other actors." Tracy in teamed with Colleen Moore in the Jesse L. Lasky production of "The Power and the Glory," which comes to the King's Theatre to-day. William K. Howard directed.

President Chester A. Arthur comes into Tabor's life when he and his cabinet officers, as well as members of the senate, the army and navy officere, attended the sensational wedding of Tabor and Baby Doe in the Willard Hotel in Washington. This is the memorable occasion when the up-i standing Westerner smocked the dry president on the back and invited him to have a secret drink to the bride. Willian Jennings Bryan, who named Tabor's daughter "Silver Dollar," visited the Silver King at his home to enlist him in the battlo against the gold standard. General Grant has a role an guest of Tabor at the opening ef Tabor's million-dollar opera house in Denver which he gave to the city. On that occasion, Tabor insisted on opening so many champagne bottles that Emma Abbott, the prima donna, refused to sing because the popping of corks annoyed her. Emprett Corr gan, Walter Rogers and Niles Welch take the respective roles of President Bebe Grant, and Bryan. "Walls of Gold"
Norton Foster is a young man who combines pleasure with scenario writ ing. Author of neveral produced plays, and a number of screen storles, Foster devoted his recunt Honolulu vacation to something besides learning to rkie a surfboard. By the time he arrived back at the Fox studio to be gin "Walls of Gold," with Sally Ellers London, Feb. 26. and Ralph Morgan, he had more than elaborate arrangements half completed a film story whielt has mado-by-the-authorities.to ensure a Honolulu background.
