London, Feb. 20. Mr. Anthony Eden, Lord Privy Seal, who is due in Rome to-day to discuss with the Italian Govern- ment deinils of the latest British disarmament plan, is now on the last lap of his tour.
He scored a personal success in Berlin, where the newspapers paid him flattering tribute on his re- cord as a soldier and statesman.
According to reports from Rome it is believed there that the Anglo-. German conversations on disarma- ment have progressed satisfactori ly. The fact that Mr. Eden stayed in Berlin much longer than he had
taken anticipated is
as a good omen and it is believed that Ger- many in ready to agree with the British and Italian Ideas on dis- armament.
