THE ALL ELECTRIC FERRY.
The Ferry Company have to be congratulated upon their enter- prise in introducing the all-electric ferry. There have been murmur- Inga amongst interested engineers about the vibration on this vessel. True, there is a slight vibration noticeable, but the machinery is now. Given time to settle down. this should soon disappear. The writer has travelled from Eurone to China in a new ship where the
machinery hammered and bumned
ke a combined forgo and boiler shop, but few took much notice of it. After a time the movement of this machinery was hardly por ceptible from the deck,
There is no more orderly crowd anywhere than that which fre quents the ferries.
There is no better organized, more efficiently run nor better managed public convenience than the Hongkong Star Ferry.
