AMENDMENT OF ORDINANCE
The local law in regard to the viewing of bodies at inquests is be-] ing changed under a Bill to amend the Coroner's Abolition Ordinance, the draft of which appears in the current issue of the Government Gozelte.
It is explained that in ordinary death Inquiries under Section 7 of the principal Ordinance it in loft; to the discration of the Magistrato whether or not there shall be a view. of the body.
Section 8, which provides for cases of inquiries into deaths in gael originally required a view of the body in such cases, but Section 30 of the Schedule of the Law Re- vision Ordinanco of 1924 thorised the deletion of the words "view the body."
