By neclamation, the Hon. Mr. R. M. ilenderson, Director of Public Works, was elected Vice-President. The Chairman said the election was not because of Mr. Henderson's official capacity in the Service bat because of his long connexion with and loyal support of the Club,

The Club had not gone in for vulgar Auccess. (Laughter). In cricket. the first eleven did not do too well, hut the second eleven had "enfeyeil themselves." The report was too early to include the Inwn bowls nection which would have shown that The team nearly triumphed in the premier division.

The Chairman, referring to certain additions and amendments to rules
nid the resolution (which WRS carried) enabled Civil Servants, who are not interested in sports, to take some interest in the social amenities afforded. He also expressed the hope that such members would interest their families in the club for similar purposes.
