A new town is growing up on the island af New Guinea, in the centre of the newly-discovered gold-mining region; and the ro Inarkabla thing about it is that it owes its existente exclusively to aircraft. Everything required, including even heavy machinery, is carried to the spot by a fow aeroplanca manufactured by the German Junkers works. This is the first time that aircraft has been resorted to in connection with the building-up of a lown.
