Mrs. Borrett Presents Swimming Prizes.
KEEN COMPETITION.
Keon rivalry bolween the Hongkong and Kowloon contestants, featured the annual swimming sports of the Garri- Victoria aon Schools, held at the Recreation Club bath yesterday after noon, in the presence of a large and enthusiastic gathering of parents and friends.
Mrs. 0. C. Borrett, wife of H.E. the
·G.0.C., was a keen spectator as was His Excellency Major General Borrett. Many officers and their wives were also present.
The Hongkong Schools made a clean aweep of the events, claiming the Championship flag, presented by the former G.O.C, Major-General Sandi- lands, winning by 115 points to $4. Hongkong scored complete triumphs in the fourth, fourteenth and seven- teenth events, while they garnered another fivé points by a splendid win by a length in the team race,
At the conclusion of the events, the prizes were presented by Mrs. Borrett.
