OVER 50,000 VISITORS IN TWO DAYS
Canton, Aug, 26. It is reliably reported that over fifty thousand people visited the sericultural exhibit at the Y. M. C. The points of special Intereat us ahown by the crowds of spectators are the places where the actual work is being done by persons. These places are three inoth examination, embroidering and allk reeling. The latter holds most of the crowd. Perhaps unconsciously most of the specta- tora are fascinated by the working of the process the discovery of which marked the beginning of the silk industry.
The exhibit will be open daily from noon to 10 p.m. until Septem- ber the second.
